Course Description
This diploma course is designed to train people who wish to advance their career with a formal qualification in psychology and those who want to pursue a degree in Psychology. Individuals with a psychology background are better able to manage relationships and interactions in the work environment.
Course Objectives
To equip students with a broad understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of psychology to be applied in the work environment, particularly in a healthcare setting.

1. Duration: Full-time, 2 semesters over 12 months

This course is designed for both students as well as working adults who wish to gain a broad understanding of psychology and how it applies to daily living and the working world.

Entry Requirements
Minimum academic qualifications:
• Local
- Diploma: GCE 'O' level certificate (minimum of 5 credits, including
English) or equivalent.
- Those who do not have the required GCE 'O' qualifications or
equivalent may be considered if they are working adults with 3-5
years work experience with some evidence of prior learning. The
College will consider such applications on case by case basis.
- Applicants whose entry qualification was not attained in English
medium are to meet the IELTS requirement with an overall score of at
least 6.0, with each band not less than 6.0.
