School of Allied Health

Defined broadly, "allied health" refers to a diverse collection of the health science fields, including rehabilitation therapy, laboratory science, medical imaging, psychology, psychotherapy, dietetics, pharmacy, and many others. Allied health professionals comprise a significant portion of the entire health care work force.

  • The School offers programs specially designed to provide the knowledge and skills to prepare students for entry-level positions.
  • The School offers a variety of training and education programs, including Use of Medical Terminology in Work Activities, BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging, and BSc (Hons) Radiography and Imaging Studies.
