Airlangga University was established in 1954. Today it has 11 faculties and 1 post graduate program, ranging from basic science, medicine, and social sciences. Its vision is to become an independent, innovative, and foremost University both regionally and globally, a forerunner of science development, technology, humanities and arts based on moral and religion.

Faculty of Nursing Airlangga University is first established as Nursing Study Program, organized by Faculty of Medicine Airlangga University in 1999 based on decree of Ministry of Education of Indonesia No. 122/Dikti/Kep/1999, on 7 April 1999. Since 20 June 2009, this study program has increased its status to become a faculty, namely “Fakultas Keperawatan (FKp)” as the only nursing faculty in Eastern Indonesia. This faculty offers two nursing degrees, Bachelor degree and Master degree.

Faculty of Nursing Airlangga University have a unique program. The program is based on the model of competence-based curriculum and expected to develop Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing science that meet international standards.

It was established in 1996 with a grant from the South Australian Health Department to provide postgraduate courses in Health Care Management and Health Administration. The Master of Health Administration is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and is recognised as meeting the academic pre-requisites for people sitting Fellowship examinations with ACHSM or the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).

Central China Normal University (HuaZhong Normal University, China)

Astana Medical University (AMU), Republic of Kazakhstan

Astana Medical University (AMU) is one of the biggest and dynamic medical universities in Kazakhstan. The AMU enjoys a high reputation in the sphere of higher medical education, has its own traditions in the area of educational services as well as in the development of medical sciences and clinical activities.

Parkway College of Nursing and Allied Health of Singapore (Parkway College) and Astana Medical University (AMU) of the Republic of Kazakhstan are parties to an MOU on academic cooperation.

As part of this academic collaboration, Parkway College conducts four modules of AMU’s MBA in Hospital Management.  The four modules are: Financial management in Healthcare (2 credits), Information Technology in Healthcare (1 credit), Operational Management in Healthcare (1 credit) and Managing quality of medical services (2 credits).
