The Flinders University Medical School is collocated with one of South Australia’s largest public teaching hospitals, Flinders Medical Centre. Flinders Health Care Management is part of the Medical School. It was established in 1996 with a grant from the South Australian Health Department to provide postgraduate courses in Health Care Management and Health Administration. The Master of Health Administration is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and is recognised as meeting the academic pre-requisites for people sitting Fellowship examinations with ACHSM or the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
