How to Apply

  • The personal statement is your opportunity to tell the college and the university about your suitability for the course that you hope to study.
  • Download and complete SA01 - Application Form and RAD04 - Advisory Note to Prospective Students and send to us via Enquiry Form
  • The panel interview will take place after the submission of the Application Form and required documents. Candidates who pass the panel interview will be notified to complete and submit a medical examination report.

Is the BSc (Hons) and Diagnostic Radiography course approved by any governance body?

Yes, the BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging course is endorsed by the Singapore Society of Radiographers and registered with the Committee of Private Education, Singapore. It is also a Recognised Qualification in Radiography by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.

What is the UCAS Tariff System?

The UCAS Tariff System is a system for allocating points to qualifications for entry to higher education. The UCAS Tariff System score is calculated based on your GCE ‘A’ Level grades. To calculate your UCAS Tariff System score, add the points corresponding to the grade that you obtained for every subject that you have completed at the GCE ‘A’ Level.

Are international candidates accepted for the course?

Currently only Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents who meet the academic and health requirements are eligible to apply for the course. We are unable to accept any other residency status due to clinical placement component eg. long term visa.

What diplomas are considered in the relevant or science field?

Holders of diplomas from a Polytechnic Science faculty are generally accepted. Related science diploma not awarded by a Polytechnic’s Science faculty are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In addition, all applicants must meet the academic entry requirements which includes ‘O’ level results.

What is the course duration for BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging course?

The entire duration is 36-months full-time consisting of classroom lectures, practical sessions and clinical placements at healthcare facilities. You can refer to the BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging page for more information.


An Honours programme usually takes 4 years. Why does this programme only take 3 years?

The amount of work required in this programme is equivalent to other 4-year Honours degree but it is designed into a 3-year programme. This means that students take more modules during each academic year and there will be shorter school holidays. Students are expected to work responsibly toward completion of the programme.


Where will the classes be held?

All classroom-based teaching will be done at Parkway College (Jalan Bukit Merah campus). The practical laboratory sessions are conducted at the facilities of our training partners eg. Philips Learning Centre.

Can I choose the hospital for my clinical placement?

The clinical placement site are allocated and students will not be permitted to choose. This is intended so that students are able to gain relevant clinical experience from various healthcare settings.
