  • Notice: The CPR + AED Provider course will be replaced by the BCLS + AED Provider Course (Public Access Defibrillator) from January 2019.

    The BCLS+AED Provider Course (Public Access Defibrillator) combines both elements of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) into one complete course.

  • Course Objective
  • At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

    • • Understand cardiac arrest
    • • Understand the rescuer’s role in the chain of survival
    • • Demonstrate competency in providing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • • Perform CPR and operate AED competently, confidently and safely
    • • Recognize and manage Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO)

  • • Theory (multiple choice questions)

    • Practical tests (scenario-based)

  • Certificate Awarded
  • A BCLS+AED Provider Certificate will be awarded by Parkway College (valid for 2 years)

    *Accredited by The Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC)

  • Course Fee
  • Per participant: S$160.50
