What are the entry requirements for the course?
There is no specific entry requirement for this course. However, learners should:

Be proficient in their own area of work

Have a good working proficiency of English (to read, to understand, to speak, to write)

Be comfortable with the use of technology and be able to use common software such as spread sheets, word processors, presentation tools, and e-learning tools

Have good interpersonal and communication skills
- For Managerial courses: Have at least 5 years of accumulated work experience in a healthcare setting, and at least 1 year as a supervisor
- For Supervisory courses: Have at least 1 year of accumulated work experience in a healthcare setting
What time will the course be conducted?
The course is conducted on weekdays, from Mondays to Fridays:
- A full day will be from 9.00am to 6.00pm
- A half day will be from 9.00am to 1.00pm
- There are no weekend or evening classes
Who is suitable to take this course?
For Managerial courses: These are targeted at learners who have been working for at least 5 years in a healthcare setting, and who have been in supervisory positions for at least 1 year.
For Supervisory courses: These are targeted at learners who have been working for at least 1 year in a healthcare setting, and who are in junior supervisory positions (i.e. people who are / will be managing a small team of staff at work).
Do you provide job placement or job search assistance?
Unlike an academic qualification (i.e. diploma, degree, etc.) which will potentially help learners in their job search, this is a professional qualification, which is meant to help learners to develop professionally and move ahead in their existing careers. As learners are expected to already be working, we do not provide job matching or job search services for them upon completion of the course.
